I found a couple of signs that look fun, and rather than translate them, I think we should all write what they ought to say instead on the notes over at flikr. See? Fun for all, right?

I really wanted to direct your attention to Airtoons (www.airtoons.com) if you haven't seen it, but when I googled it, Google gave a warning about how that site may install malware on your computer. So beware. On the other hand, if you're not on your own computer, you should check it out, because it's totally one of the funniest sites I've ever seen (and similar in concept to your contest).
ooo! I love the airtoons site - The governmental warnings are hilarious! I shall search out new signs to abuse :)
