Why Yes, Yes I Am

A geek, that is. I'm watching the caucusing on CSPAN. I am now even more convinced than ever that the Democratic Party is unable to organize its way out of a wet paper bag.

I am kinda digging it though. Sure it's a very weird and arcane way of doing things, but I tend to be partial to the weird and arcane.

the more I watch this, it seems more like it ought to be on the Discovery Channel. It's like Meerkat Manor or something. Will the black-shirted dude convince the women to go to over to Obama? Tune in!

Also, and I know I'm the only one here, so I'm not really expecting an answer, but has anyone seen anyone who isn't Caucasian?

I also wonder what's up with the Ron Paul tshirt person. Dragged there unwillingly? Just unhappy at the D options? Oh yeah, and the call-in folks were very heavily Ron Paul, too. Even if he scares the bajeezus out of me, I'm really impressed about how their get-out the calls work has gone.

Whoa. Clinton did not do well in Precinct 58. Obama and Edwards, eh?

OMG, me too! I just posted about it. SO glad to know I'm not the only one.

And no, I have not seen anyone who isn't Caucasian.

Hooray for geeks! Looks like Obama's getting it +7%. That's pretty impressive, ain't it?

i hate that what iowa and new hampshire choose is pretty much where it ends up going. (i honestly haven't been following any of it though).

It is very odd, isn't it?

The speeches were really interesting though. Edwards' and Obama's were really strong. Clinton did seem a bit shaken - the speech itself didn't seem as good either.

Oh crap. Now I remember why I started to hate CNN so much again - they're going to turn it over to Larry King at the top of the hour.

Again - About Iowa, I'm really torn. I really don't like that Iowa and New Hampshire have so much influence. One Democratic guy said that corporations do product testing there because they are all average there. Is that really a good rationale?

But frankly, I'm not sure there's any state that I'd trust. Surely there is a better way though, right?

Oh for crying out loud. Get Larry King off of my TV. Ye gods...
