(If you know the answer, please don't answer that - just think to yourself how cool you are for knowing and move on with that knowledge)
I'm in the land of Far Far Away. Many have fallen to the perils of intestinal distress, but yet I'm still enjoying every meal. I've seen wondrous sights and outstanding human beings.
The trip itself is a surreal thing and only a funhouse minor reflection of what I thought it would be, but I'm having a great time and am truly lucky to have found myself here. I'm still not entirely sure how that happened.
There's another week to go here and then I'm back in the realm of reality. The housing situation has been resolved. I got the place that I wasn't too keen on, but at least I know I have somewhere to go home to when I have to leave my happy hovel.
Side note - I have a nasty habit of picking up people's accents. For the past week I've been chatting with groups of New Zealanders, Australians, British folks, French folks, and a couple of lovely Spanish folks as well as a handful of Asian nationalities to boot. I hope they don't think I'm mocking them, because I simply love accents and I'm only subconsciously trying them on for size. I quite like the British one at the moment...
That's all for now - take care my friends of the ether, I wish I could read all of your blogs now, but there's simply not enough time. Be well and try the chicken, or if you can't do both, then just be well.
