Overread: Why Does TCM Taunt Me?

I come home to do a bit of reading and go to sleep, but they're showing another Audrey Hepburn movie. I mean, c'mon! I'm only human!

Camera Obscura said...: I saw She Done Him Wrong for the first time a couple of days ago, thanks to TCM's 30 Degrees of Oscar (or whatever they're calling it). That last scene, in the carriage -- I left the room fanning myself. Damnsight steamier than a lot of the sex scenes in movies nowadays.

Now I know why Mae said Archie was her favorite leading man. When I die, I want to go back in time and be reincarnated as that lady, at least for that movie shoot.; 5:36 AM

Overread said...: My Fair Lady - I'll admit that I've only seen a few of her movies, but I do think it's a bit disturbing that she does seem to keep on getting hooked up with the... well, shall we say, older men?

Did you see the biopic of Audrey that they made w/ Jennifer Love Hewett? She did a good job of capturing both voice and mannerisms. But some of the other actors... tsk.; 7:41 PM
