Circling the Barge

Ah, the papers were returned and the emails follow like seagulls that chase the trash-barges off the Jersey coast. I did get a couple of really nice ones though – along the lines of ‘thanks for the comments. What you wrote makes sense, and I think I can fix that in the next paper.’ Wow. Am I being buttered up, or is that for real? Does it matter?
