Student: So, this paper is going to be like the last ones? Thesis statement, structure, grammar and all that?

response: No. This time I'm looking for complete incoherence, mechanics are unimportant, I expect the paper to communicate absolutely nothing, and it's really all busy work for you in order to provide work for me to do in the form of grading to justify the low stipend the university pays me. Yep. That's right.

hehe - after looking at a couple of the papers, I think some of the students took exactly that advice.

Thesis statements are so English Comp. I should be able to free-associate my way to an A.
