Word o' the Day

Word of the day:

vituperate
v. tr.
To rebuke or criticize harshly or abusively; berate.
v. intr.
To use harshly abusive language; rail.

I love words.  I really do.  Sometimes, however, I think scholars collect pet words just to send poor students like me to the dictionary.

I haven't even heard of this word before!

Look, you have a blogroll! overread is all grown up. :) Just kidding...

hehe - yeah, I fought it for a long while because I hate not including people. It's kinda like having to chose a best friend in 3rd grade - you can't have everyone be your best friend, and you can't put everyone you read blogroll. I hope I haven't missed that many :(

that is so true... what you wrote about the blogroll. mine ends up being more like a list of who links to me, which is probably weird because I don't consistently read all of them. I read yours in bloglines.
