Hermit-ically sealed

Otherdepartment Friend and I had a brief grief session yesterday.  She and I have both been spending a lot of time working and feeling like we aren’t really progressing.  She did come up with an idea that I like though.  We both have stacks of essays to grade, so we are going to have a grading get-together tomorrow at a local café.  We’ve even invited another person we know who is also neck-deep in grading.  We figure this way we can at least pretend we’re being social (‘demented and sad, but social’) and still get things done.  Hopefully.
